Feral Druid Guide
Feral is Midnight's streamlined bleed-and-burst melee. Midnight cut Brutal Slash, Thrash, Bloodtalons, Adaptive Swarm and Berserk: Frenzy, leaving a tighter rotation built around Tiger's Fury windows, well-maintained Rake/Rip bleeds, and explosive Berserk + Convoke burst. It shines in Mythic+ — high mobility, strong cleave with Primal Wrath, and great on-demand burst on priority targets — but its sustained, ramp-heavy single-target lags the field in raid, which keeps it lower on the raid meat-and-potatoes tier.
As of Patch 12.0.5, the Nebulous Voidcore lets you target gear via Bonus Loot rolls after Season 1 Raid bosses, Mythic+ dungeons, Bountiful Delves, and Nightmare Prey Hunts — a controlled way to chase Feral BiS instead of praying to normal drops. A Bonus Roll after a M+ dungeon awards the Great Vault item level for that keystone level, so +10 and above can give 1/6 Myth-track pieces. Spend your weekly cores on the slots that move the needle most: your trinkets, your Clearcasting-fueled tier set, and a high-ilvl weapon.

🚀 Opener
Stealth-open from Prowl, snapshot your bleeds inside the first Tiger's Fury, then dump everything into the Berserk window. Pre-pot Light's Potential with Berserk. On Wildstalker, prioritize getting Rake + Rip (+ Moonfire) ticking to grow Bloodseeker Vines before you spend big.

⚔️ Single-Target Priority
Keep Rake and Rip (and Moonfire on Wildstalker) up at all times — refresh inside Pandemic range, never clip early. Pool Energy ahead of Tiger's Fury so you cast it near full value, and align Berserk + Convoke with it for burst.
- Tiger's Fury on cooldown — ideally at 5 Combo Points or ~50 Energy below cap
- Berserk on cooldown, synced with Tiger's Fury
- Feral Frenzy on cooldown

💥 AoE / Multi-Target Priority
Primal Wrath becomes your finisher to spread Rip across the pack. Build with Swipe, dump Clearcasting into Swipe, and keep Rake on as many targets as is realistic. Druid of the Claw is far better here than Wildstalker.

⏱️ Cooldowns
Stack your burst: Tiger's Fury → Berserk → Feral Frenzy → Convoke. Tiger's Fury is the metronome (every 30s) you build everything else around. Pre-snapshot your bleeds with a high-value Rake before the window opens.
💚 Defensive Toolkit
Feral leans on Bear Form swaps for emergencies plus baseline Druid mitigation. Druid of the Claw improves Bear Form and makes Frenzied Regeneration easier to access — a real survivability edge in M+.

📊 Stat Priority
Priority: Agility > Mastery > Haste > Critical Strike > Versatility. After the Midnight stat squish, Agility / item level dominate — most upgrades come down to higher ilvl rather than chasing a secondary.
- Mastery (Razor Claws) — usually the top secondary at all gear levels; amplifies finishers and Bleeds, the heart of the Wildstalker toolkit.
- Haste — very close behind: more Energy regen, faster auto-attacks, faster Bleed ticks, and on Druid of the Claw more Ravage proc chances.
- Critical Strike — feeds Primal Fury (bonus Combo Point on a crit builder); can compete with Mastery/Haste depending on gear.
- Versatility — last, no unique interaction, but some defensive value.
🎁 Tier Set, Trinkets & Consumables
Tier set — Sprouts of the Luminous Bloom: 2pc = gaining Clearcasting from Omen of Clarity increases your crit chance by 5% for 4s. 4pc = Rake damage +20%, and Clearcasting increases Shred/Swipe damage by an extra 15%. Both bonuses reward proccing and spending Clearcasting — a clean, strong set worth completing.
Top trinkets — Raid: Gaze of the Alnseer (best passive, from Dreamrift) is the priority farm; pair with Radiant Plume or Umbral Plume. Mythic+: Algeth'ar Puzzle Box (on-use, pre-cast it before pulls/burst) plus Gaze of the Alnseer or Solarflare Prism.
- Flask — Flask of the Shattered Sun (Agility).
- Combat potion — Light's Potential; pop with Berserk in the opener.
- Food — best Agility / secondary Silvermoon feast.
- Augment Rune — Void-Touched Augment Rune.
- Weapon oil — Thalassian Phoenix Oil.
Gems: Indecipherable Eversong Diamond (meta) + Flawless Quick Amethyst (Haste) or a Mastery gem to match your priority. Enchants: weapon Acuity of the Ren'dorei; chest Mark of the Worldsoul; boots Lynx's Dexterity; plus rings/wrist/legs per current best.
🗝️ Mythic+ Tips
- Run Druid of the Claw in M+ — easier hybridizing between single-target and AoE plus better Bear Form defensives. Wildstalker is a raid pick.
- Primal Wrath is your AoE finisher: build to 5 CP with Swipe, then spread Rip across the whole pack before dumping Ferocious Bite/Ravage.
- Apply Rake to as many targets as is realistic — your bleeds are most of your AoE damage and they feed Clearcasting/tier procs.
- Pre-cast Algeth'ar Puzzle Box right before a pull so its on-use lines up with Tiger's Fury + Berserk.
- Use Stampeding Roar to speed the group between packs; keep Skull Bash + Mighty Bash assignments for caster interrupts and stuns.
- Soothe for Enrage mobs/affixes and Remove Corruption for Curse/Poison dispels — your kit covers several affixes for free.
- Bail to Bear Form + Frenzied Regeneration on heavy spikes; Barkskin on cooldown for rot.
⌨️ Macros & Addons
WeakAuras is not supported in Midnight (12.0) — use Blizzard's built-in Cooldown Manager (importable configs on Wago.io). Addons: ElvUI, DBM/BigWigs, GTFO, Plater (DoT tracking), and a CP/Energy tracker.

🚫 Common Mistakes
- Clipping Rake/Rip early — refresh only inside the Pandemic window or you lose bleed uptime and tier/Clearcasting procs.
- Casting Tiger's Fury at full Energy — you waste the Energy refund; fire it ~50 Energy below cap (and at 5 CP when possible).
- Firing Convoke the Spirits before your bleeds are applied or without Tiger's Fury up — much of its value is the buffed procced casts.
- Misaligning Berserk and Convoke with Tiger's Fury — unstacked cooldowns gut your burst.
- Playing Wildstalker in heavy-AoE M+ — it struggles to cleave; bring Druid of the Claw instead.
- Forgetting Predatory Swiftness Regrowth / Renewal — free heals left on the table while you take avoidable deaths.
- Looking for removed buttons — Brutal Slash, Thrash, Bloodtalons and Adaptive Swarm are gone in Midnight; the rotation is leaner now.
