Privacy Policy

Azerlogs ("the Site") is a free, unofficial, fan-made World of Warcraft guide. It is not affiliated with Blizzard Entertainment. This policy explains what limited data is involved when you visit, who processes it, and the choices you have. The Site has no accounts and never asks you for personal information.
What we collect
- No account or sign-up. There is no login. We do not ask for your name, email, or any personal details to use the Site.
- Local storage on your device. Features such as the progression/roster tracker, the Mythic+ comp builder, and your language choice are saved only in your browser's localStorage. This data stays on your device, is not transmitted to us, and we cannot read it. You can clear it at any time from your browser settings.
- Standard server logs. Our hosting provider may record standard technical data (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) for security, abuse-prevention, and reliability.
Advertising & cookies (Google AdSense)
The Site is supported by advertising served through Google AdSense. To show ads, Google and its partners may store and read cookies and similar identifiers in your browser.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to the Site and/or other sites on the Internet.

Analytics (Google Analytics)
The Site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate, anonymized traffic — which pages are popular, rough visitor counts, and general device/region breakdowns — so we can improve the guides. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes data such as a randomized identifier, approximate location, and pages viewed. We do not collect your name or any personal details and do not use this data to identify you individually; IP addresses are anonymized by Google. You can opt out across all sites with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, and learn more in Google's Privacy Policy. Where consent is required (EEA, UK, Switzerland), analytics cookies are governed by the consent choice described below.
Consent for EEA, UK & Switzerland
For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, the Site uses a Google-certified Consent Management Platform (CMP) to request consent before non-essential cookies (such as personalized-advertising cookies) are set, in line with Google's EU User Consent Policy. Where required, you can choose between personalized and non-personalized ads, and you can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the privacy/consent control provided on the page. Non-personalized ads still use a cookie for frequency capping and fraud prevention, but are not based on a profile of your interests.
Third-party services
- Blizzard API. When you look up or import a character or view live game data, the Site sends a request to Blizzard's public API using only the region, realm, and character name you enter. That lookup is handled by Blizzard under its own policies; we do not store your searches on a server.
- Google AdSense. Advertising and related cookies, as described above.
- Ko-fi. If you choose to support the Site, any payment is handled entirely by Ko-fi under its own privacy policy. We never receive or see your payment details.
Your choices & rights
Depending on where you live (for example, the GDPR in the EU/UK or the CCPA in California), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data, and to opt out of personalized advertising. Because we do not directly collect personal data, most requests relate to advertising cookies — use the opt-out links above, the on-page consent control, or simply clear cookies and local storage in your browser.
Children
The Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Site or applicable rules change; the "last updated" date above will change accordingly.
