Cooking is a secondary profession - it has no Knowledge Point spec trees like the primary professions. It levels through simple skill-ups and learned recipes, so prioritize by what sells, not by talent allocation.

Leveling & priority order

  1. Run the daily cooking quest in Silvermoon
The repeatable cooking daily is the fastest, cheapest way to gain skill and pick up new recipes. Do it every day while you level the profession.
  2. Bulk-cook the highest-stat single food
Cook the top current-tier stat food in volume. Single-stat food (the well-fed buff) lists on the AH and turns over reliably.
  3. Add group Feasts once skill allows
Feasts feed a whole group from one craft and sell to raid leaders at a strong per-serving margin.
  4. Pair with Fishing for free reagents
Fishing supplies the fish mats Cooking needs, so the two together cut your input cost to near zero.

📌 Demand is steady rather than huge - food is a consumable everyone re-buys, but margins are thin, which is why this sits at B-tier. Verify the current best-stat recipe on Wowhead before stockpiling reagents.
