🛡️ Identity

The sin'dorei are the proud, magic-addicted survivors of the high elves of Quel'Thalas, who took the name "blood elves" to honor their fallen after the Scourge devastated their kingdom. Drawn to arcane power for both beauty and war, they rebuilt Silvermoon and threw their lot in with the Horde, lending it sorcerous refinement and a long memory for vengeance.

⚔️ Racial Abilities

• Arcane Torrent — Removes 1 beneficial effect from all enemies within 8 yards and restores a portion of your primary resource. The exact resource varies by class (Mana, Energy, Rage, Runic Power, Focus, etc.), so its value depends on which spec you play. (1.5 min cooldown)
• Arcane Acuity — Increases your critical strike chance by 1% — a small but universal offensive secondary-stat boost that benefits every spec. (Passive)
• Arcane Affinity — Increases your Enchanting skill by 5. A profession convenience with no combat impact. (Passive)
• Arcane Resistance — Reduces Arcane damage taken by 1%. A minor situational defensive against Arcane-school damage. (Passive)

📈 Min-Max Analysis

• Raid — Arcane Acuity's flat 1% critical strike is a clean, always-on throughput gain that applies to every spec, making Blood Elf a solid default for Horde raiders. Arcane Torrent's resource return is a minor bonus and its dispel is mostly idle in PvE, though it can purge an enemy buff on certain encounters.
• Mythic+ — The 1% crit from Arcane Acuity is steady value across every dungeon pull. Arcane Torrent can occasionally strip a beneficial effect from a dangerous caster pack, and the resource restore helps smooth out energy- or mana-starved moments, but neither is a primary draw.
• PvP — Arcane Torrent shines most in PvP: its AoE single-buff purge can rip a key effect off multiple enemies, and the resource return tops you off in a pinch. The 1% crit from Arcane Acuity is a small constant edge. Note that since the silence was removed years ago, Arcane Torrent is a purge-and-restore tool, not an interrupt.
