🛡️ Identity
The Lightforged are draenei who took the fight to the Burning Legion across the Twisting Nether, remade by the naaru and the Army of the Light into living weapons of holy power. Zealous, disciplined, and utterly devoted to the Light, they joined the Alliance after the events of Argus and bring the burning conviction of the Crusade to Azeroth's defense.

📈 Min-Max Analysis
- Raid — Light's Judgment provides a small, free chunk of burst AoE damage on a 2.5-minute cooldown that any spec can weave in, and Holy Providence offers a sliver of extra healing done plus Holy damage reduction. None of it is class-defining, so Lightforged is a flavor-first raid pick rather than a throughput one.
- Mythic+ — Light's Judgment is at its best here: free instant AoE that adds to trash cleave and pull damage on a short cooldown, and Light's Reckoning can squeeze out extra damage and a heal even when you die mid-pull. Holy Providence's 1% Holy damage reduction helps against Holy-flavored boss and affix mechanics.
- PvP — Lightforged brings no stun break or hard defensive racial, so its PvP value is modest. Light's Judgment can add chip AoE pressure and help with stealth detection, but most PvP-focused players will prefer races with a trinket effect or escape.
⭐ Best for: A flavor and aesthetic pick for Light-themed Paladins and Priests. The free Light's Judgment AoE makes it a fun, low-stakes choice for Mythic+ trash damage, but it is rarely a min-max optimal race in raid or PvP.
