🛡️ Identity
Wise, jovial, and deeply rooted in balance, the pandaren hail from the back of the great turtle Shen-zin Su and the hidden continent of Pandaria. Long isolated from the wider world, they value harmony, good food, and inner calm above conquest. Pandaren are unique in choosing their faction only after completing their starting zone, joining either the Alliance or the Horde once they leave the Wandering Isle.
Faction: Neutral (choose Alliance or Horde) · Starting zone: The Wandering Isle (faction chosen at the end of the starting experience)

📈 Min-Max Analysis
- Raid — Epicurean is the standout racial: doubling the secondary stats from Well Fed effectively gives Pandaren a larger food buff than any other race, a small but constant throughput edge that applies to every spec. Quaking Palm offers a free single-target incapacitate that any class can use to handle an add or interrupt a cast.
- Mythic+ — Quaking Palm is genuinely useful in Mythic+ as an extra crowd-control tool for stopping a dangerous caster or buying a pull some breathing room, on a class that might otherwise have none. Epicurean's larger food buff adds a steady secondary-stat boost across the whole key.
- PvP — Quaking Palm gives every Pandaren a built-in 4-second incapacitate to set up burst, peel for a teammate, or break a cast — valuable on classes light on crowd control. Epicurean's bigger food buff adds a little extra durability and damage, though Pandaren lack a defensive or anti-stun racial.
⭐ Best for: A flexible, fun pick whose Epicurean food bonus is a "never wrong" throughput racial for any raider, and whose Quaking Palm crowd control shines in Mythic+ and PvP — especially on classes that otherwise lack a single-target stun or incapacitate (Warriors, Hunters, and Monks all appreciate it).
