🛡️ Identity

A proud, spiritual people of the plains, the tauren walk the path of the Earth Mother and the Sun. Patient and slow to anger but devastating when roused, they brought their shamanic wisdom and shu'halo honor to the Horde, valuing balance with nature above conquest.

⚔️ Racial Abilities

• War Stomp — Stuns up to 5 nearby enemies within 8 yards for a couple of seconds — a short-cast, on-demand area stun usable in PvE and PvP. (2 min cooldown)
• Endurance — Increases your Stamina (scaling with level), giving Tauren a noticeably larger health pool. (Passive)
• Brawn — Increases your critical strike bonus damage and healing by 2% — a rare offensive racial that scales directly with crit-based output. (Passive)
• Cultivation — Increases your Herbalism skill and lets you gather herbs more quickly. A gathering-profession convenience with no combat impact. (Passive)
• Nature Resistance — Reduces Nature damage taken by a passive amount. (Passive)

📈 Min-Max Analysis

• Raid — Brawn is the standout — a flat 2% increase to critical-strike bonus damage (and healing) is a genuine throughput racial that benefits every spec, and it's especially strong for high-crit classes. Endurance's larger health pool adds survivability against burst raid mechanics, and War Stomp can interrupt or control adds.
• Mythic+ — War Stomp is excellent in Mythic+ as an extra AoE stun for trash packs and explosive mobs, helping with interrupt rotations and crowd control. Brawn boosts your damage throughput, and Endurance's extra Stamina cushions heavy pull damage.
• PvP — War Stomp is the signature PvP tool: a free area stun that sets up burst, peels for teammates, or stops a cast. Brawn adds reliable extra crit damage to your burst windows, and the larger health pool from Endurance makes Tauren harder to globally chunk down.
