🛡️ Identity
Once the proud, isolationist humans of the kingdom of Gilneas, the Worgen were transformed into feral wolf-beasts by an ancient curse. After their nation fell to the Forsaken, they reconnected with their humanity and joined the Alliance, channeling their savage second nature into ferocity on the battlefield while retaining the ability to walk as men.
Faction: Alliance · Starting zone: Gilneas City, Gilneas (capital: Gilneas / Stormwind City)

📈 Min-Max Analysis
- Raid — Viciousness is the headline: a flat 1% Critical Strike passive that lifts every damage spec's throughput, making Worgen one of the strongest pure-DPS Alliance races. Darkflight provides mobility for spread mechanics, and Aberration trims a little Shadow and Nature damage.
- Mythic+ — The 1% crit from Viciousness adds up over a dungeon's worth of pulls, while Darkflight's 40% sprint is excellent for repositioning, skipping trash, and chaining packs. Aberration's magic mitigation is a small bonus against caster trash.
- PvP — Darkflight is a genuine PvP tool — a 40% speed burst to chase a kill target, peel for a teammate, or escape a focus. Viciousness's passive crit raises your damage ceiling across every spec, and Aberration shaves off some Shadow and Nature burst.
⭐ Best for: A top-tier choice for any DPS spec thanks to the universal crit passive — a long-standing favorite for Worgen Druids, Hunters, Rogues, and Warriors. Darkflight adds PvP and dungeon mobility on top.
